The Scrubs revival will officially premiere with back-to-back episodes on Wednesday, February 25, 2026, at 8/7c, on ABC. The premiere date coincides with star Judy Reyes’s previous tease to TV Insider, as she told us filming was expected to begin in October 2025, so the series could premiere for the midseason.

Who stars in the Scrubs revival?

Zach Braff, Donald Faison, and Sarah Chalke have all signed deals to return and reprise their roles as doctors, JD, Turk, Christopher Turk, and Elliot Reid, respectively. And after months of rumors and discussions about Judy Reyes‘ return as Carla Espinosa, Turk’s wife and nurse at Sacred Heart. Reyes’ participation in the revival was officially confirmed by Deadline, which announced she’ll return in a recurring guest star capacity. Reyes currently features in ABC’s hit series High Potential, in which she costars alongside Kaitlin Olson.

Meanwhile, fan-favorite Dr. Cox is also scrubbing back in, as it was announced by Variety that John C. McGinley would reprise his role as a recurring guest star. Since then, Variety announced that original series stars Robert Maschio and Phill Lewis would return to reprise their roles as Todd and Hooch. New additions to the team include Vanessa Bayer as Sibby, who runs a wellness program for staff at Sacred Heart, and Joel Kim Booster as Dr. Eric Park. Meanwhile, Ava Bunn, Jacob Dudman, David Gridley, Layla Mohammadi, and Amanda Morrow join as part of the intern class portraying Serena, Asher, Blake, Amara, and Dashana.
