‘There’s a difference between a ceasefire and a peace’

USSC Director of Research Jared Mondschein was quoted by the ABC on the recent ceasefire agreed to by Israel and Hamas, saying, “There’s a difference between a ceasefire and a peace… right now there is a ceasefire but to build a lasting peace, is something that we have not seen much optimism for in decades.”
